Ironically I’ve found it’s harder for people to run away in remote, people don’t disappear from their desks and you don’t have to chase them down. If they don’t message back and it’s urgent, you call and if they don’t pick up a call and haven’t marked themselves as such something’s up. People are extremely dilligent about making sure they use status’ due to the knowledge that people will assume that way.

Ignoring the success and failure of agile and waterfall. Waterfall was just a way more enjoyable development experience for me. That would probably change if the cycle was lower though. Appreciate the work. There’s a desire to spread awareness but there is a place. There is a demand for trigger warnings in today’s society and that stems from a desire to avoid topics. Dead bodies in particular shouldn’t need a trigger warnings because it’s clearly a trigger. That is the goal of posting it. Just because you think the message is important doesn’t give you any further rights.

It probably depends on the university. There are definitely dregs of “incel” culture that get in but they can’t socialize and are usually left alone. In the workforce, interviews stop them from getting much further then that.
