Imagine living in 1899. The 1900s are just around the corner, nothing feels the same.

I feel like its a similar feeling now. 2027 isnt a real year. It feels wrong that humanity is in this year.

But, I felt this way even when it was 2014 too.

Maybe the Mayans were right and the simulation ended in 2012, and we are just the lasting ghosts of a system long unplugged?

yeah i feel the same way. it’s an imaginary year. it’s like a dream, it will be what your subconscious conjures up. if you have bad fantasy, that’s a problem for you!

what would you like the world to be? what bothers you?

    • Exactly !! I’m not that old but I had a time shifted childhood in the middle of nowhere with no internet. Basically for me I grew up in the later 80s. So thats why it probably feels wrong to me.

For me, I feel we peaked in 2012, especially tech wise. Maybe even earlier actually. Before we could all be completely controlled because of tech advance, but we had enough tech to be fun and useful. Nothing is cool anymore. The only cool tech to me is pre 2010, save for some FPGA stuff.

The fact kids think DVDs are old is baffling to me. I use CDs and DVDs every day. Its just weird to me how they grew up completely glued to corporate social media and a little rectangle. Only consuming. Its pretty sick really. They can’t even use a desktop, and at least a desktop facilitates some form of creation and anticorporate freedom.

Just like all the normies obsessed with their phones when they know nothing of tech. They dont know a single setting on their phone. They dont know how networks work. Basic information is completely alien to them.

My whole life, anything ive used, ive learned about it and how it works. Cars. Houses. Computers. Networks. Politics. Because people should know the shit they deal with every day!
