Scalping restaurant reservations. Why is America filled with BS like this???
Can’t go cause no reservations, eat at home or Applebee’s. Once the restaurants start having empty tables with zero availability, they’ll start policing this themselves.
So… A reservation deposit and matching ID at the door would fix all this?
Seems like a simple fix.
Paying a deposit is common when making a reservation at Michelin restaurants in Europe.
This isn’t rocket science or even new. Only the BS part of it is new.
Not sure about stories from Eater. Last I heard they layed off their food critics.
