    Makes sense. Automanufacturers lose a lot of money making EVs, anything to cut that cost down is what the manufacturer is going to do. Sadly that comes at the cost of vastly inflated repair costs.

    The article is pretty hypothetical …. Tesla has been doing this for long enough that it seems like we ought to know the answer
