    Can you imagine travelling back a few centuries and telling people “I could protect my family from it but I choose not to”? They’d look at you like you had 2 heads

      The measles had turned into a terrible thing called measles encephalitis and there was nothing the doctors could do to save her. That was twenty-four years ago in 1962, but even now, if a child with measles happens to develop the same deadly reaction from measles as Olivia did, there would still be nothing the doctors could do to help her.

      He wrote this back in 1988 to address those that were hesitant to get vaccinated back then…I doubt he could have thought that Wakefield would come along later and help to completely fuck up everything.
